Perching naturally

At the moment, I'm following a couple of Little owls (Athene noctua) which have their territory just next the house where I live.
In the small village there's not much place for natural perches like old tree stumps, even trees are few and far between. However, today I framed one on an old withering orange tree. I've taken dozens of frames but until now all I've managed to get is an owl on a concrete wall or red-tiled roof. My goal is to catch one amongst the leaves and fruits.
